Star Trek is the brain child of Gene Roddenberry! :3 Star Trek was always cool! Which series are you referring to? you'd have to be pretty old to have liked it before it was cool. I grew up in a trekkie household! :3 *was turned into a Trekkie* Infact it's what drove my love of computers. (My mother is in her 40's and it came out before she was born)
Was there ever a time when Star Trek wasn't cool? My understanding is that it was a major hit from the very beginning and has continued to be so ever since. If you mean before the 2009 movie, though, then, yes, I was a fan before then, too.
I grew up on it. Both my parents are Trekkies (or Trekkers, if you prefer.), and I remember when I was little I only liked the show because it meant I got to stay up... then when I was nine or so I realized, hey, this is actually pretty good.
I'll love it even after it jumps out of the cool arena - if it ever does. I like to think it'll remain popular forever... our-so-many-greats great-grandchildren (who live in on another planet) will study Star Trek as an example of how fiction will change the world.
Star Trek did, and anyone who says otherwise hasn't a clue what their talking about.
Enough of my ramblings. Love the stamp. Faving it.
